ABOUT US
The Furniture Workshop was established in 1984 by Ricky Crimes after serving his apprenticeship making country furniture. Over two decades later he now has a loyal and experienced team of tradesmen to produce furniture and joinery to the highest standard.
WHAT WE MAKE
We offer a wide range of furniture from bedside cabinets, kitchens, wardrobes, tables, chairs, bathrooms to panelled rooms, windows, doors and intricate staircases using an extensive range of materials - reclaimed pine and oak veneers, modern laminate and stainless steel, sometimes combining the old and new to create a personal style and finish.
ADVICE AND SERVICE
We offer a design service. With over twenty years of experience Ricky Crimes has come across and solved tricky and difficult designs and revels in the challenge.
IN-HOUSE FACILITIES
With over 3,000 square feet of workshop and our own machine shop and finishing room, we purchase the raw materials only, so making furniture to fit is our standard practice. With larger projects, eg. kitchens, we have dependable sub-contractors for building works with whom we have worked for some time. This service is project managed by us.

Should you decide to make an enquiry, first contact us by e-mail at crimes@btconnect.com or 'phone on 01420 541602. If it is a small job and a drawing can be provided this could be sent to us for pricing.
Larger jobs, Ricky would visit or you could visit the workshop; a drawing would be produced and costed, then any fine-tuning carried out on design to ensure the client's requirements are understood.
AFTERCARE, our work is guaranteed for 6 months for workmanship and materials.
